Windsor Clockwork
Purchased in June 2014 from an estate sale. This is a singlespeed road bike, from the online retailer Bikes Direct. They call it the Windsor Clockwork. Here are the specs from their site:

The previous owner had changed the saddle to a Forte Softail, which I expected to hate but which I ended up loving, so much so that I have purchased the same saddle for two other bikes.
I thought at first the bike was too small. The bars were really low. I ended up buying an adjustable stem and raising the bars as high as I could, and that worked fine. I also bumped up the tires to Pasela 28s. Of course, I swapped the pedals, and added two water bottle cages.
The singlespeed is a really good fit for the terrain where I live, and I’ve even taken the bike on some gravel roads, and it’s done well. I wish it could accept wider tires (seems to be limited to about 30mm in the rear, slightly more up front).
I’ve enjoyed this bike a bunch. I really do appreciate the simplicity of the machine, and the relative light weight. I’ve ridden it on two century rides, and one 4-day supported tour. I even rode this in a duathlon, and averaged 19.2 MPH on a 20-mile course (WAY above my typical speeds). It’s a really fun bike to just zip around on.
