Continental Cyclocross Speed Tires Mounted

Mounted up some new Continental Cyclocross Speed tires on the Nashbar Gravel Bike. The CX Speed is very similar to the Continental Speed Rides I’ve been running on the Amok for awhile, other than width, so hopefully I’ll be happy with them.

The new tires weigh about 365 grams:

They’re spec’d as a 35mm width, but measure considerably less (not unusual for Continental tires, in my experience):

So while I could wish for slightly wider, they’ll do.

And here are the tires on their first ride. They performed flawlessly — comfortable ride, good control, good traction, no flats.
